Postdoc position in Stuttgart - dipolar gases in optical lattices.

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on the physics of dipolar quantum gases in optical lattices with Dysprosium atoms. The researcher will work on a next generation experimental set-up designed to explore strongly correlated quantum phases of many-body systems with dipole- dipole interactions.

This new set-up will benefit from our experience in dipolar quantum gases, and plans on using advanced techniques including ultra-stable lasers to probe correlations at the single atom level.

We will study topics in quantum magnetism and fractional quantum Hall physics. The researcher should have experimental experience in atomic, molecular or optical physics.
