Ultracold molecules : formation and applications

Abstract
We have seen major rapid developments in the manipulation of ultracold molecules in the last few years. Ultracold molecules are interesting in a very large range of fields, from ultracold chemistry, to high- precision measurements, to quantum information processing. We will review avenues to obtain ultracold molecules, focusing mainly on photoassociation of pairs of atoms, and discuss applications of ultracold molecules in these three fileds : ultracold chemistry, high- precision measurement, and quantum informatin processing.
